Kırıkkale’de yolcu otobüsü devrildi: 1 can kaybı, 40 yaralı

One person died and 40 were injured when a passenger bus overturned in Kırıkkale. The passenger bus, with license plate 38 ADF 410, belonging to Süha Turizm company and driven by D.A.G., was traveling from Tekirdağ to Kayseri when it lost control and overturned near Karakeçili State Hospital on the Kaman-Ankara highway. Following the report, AFAD, fire brigade, health, gendarmerie, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. 41 people were injured in the accident, 3 of them seriously. Tekmile Atasoy, one of the injured who was taken to hospitals in the city by ambulance, could not be saved despite medical intervention. Kırıkkale Governor Hüseyin Engin Sarıibrahim said, "38 passengers, 2 drivers, and 1 assistant, a total of 41 people, were injured. The injured were taken to hospitals from the scene. We believe that 3 of our people are seriously injured. The ground had become slippery due to the first frost of the morning. It was an accident caused by the slippery road. We see again that all passengers on our passenger buses need to fasten their seatbelts." He said. Sarıibrahim, who conveyed his best wishes to the passengers, stated that the bus driver was taken into custody and that the investigation into the accident was ongoing. Governor Sarıibrahim inspected the accident site and received information.
