Encuesta de Equipos: ¿Cómo ven los uruguayos la llegada de inmigrantes al país?
A poll by Equipos Consultores, released yesterday on the news program Subrayado, showed that Uruguayans' opinions on immigration are divided. 42% believe that the arrival of immigrants harms the country, while 37% believe it benefits it. Additionally, 16% believe it has no clear effects or has both positive and negative impacts, and 5% did not express an opinion. Perceptions vary according to age. Young people between 18 and 29 years old are the only group in which opinions favorable to immigration predominate, while among people over 50, a more critical view of its impact on the country prevails. There are also marked differences based on educational level. Among those with primary education, six out of ten believe that immigration harms Uruguay, while among those with tertiary education, the majority maintain that it benefits the country. Region of residence also influences the responses. In Montevideo, positive opinions about immigration predominate, while in the interior of the country, the majority believe that its arrival has negative effects, resulting in a slightly unfavorable overall balance at the national level. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Become a member of this channel to enjoy benefits: https://www.youtube.com/EnPerspectiva...
