New Zealander tries biscuits and sausage gravy for the first time

I want to start off by saying that the biscuits I made in this recipe were shocking. But it was entirely my fault and goes to show even if you are prepared and have it all written down things can and do still go wrong. I decided to keep with the video because the purpose of the video was not the biscuits. They were a component (an important one), however the purpose was to try serving suggestions and the 'holy grail' a gravy. It also shows that nobodies perfect and we all make mistakes. In the video I attempt to correct my mistake by adding in the other ingredients at the same scale. I knew this wouldn't really work, as the baking powder had already been activated and there was no fat rubbed into the new flour I added. I'm honestly surprised they baked alright at all. Regardless the gravy was a totally new experience and you have me convinced it was amazing even my vegan version. I cant even imagine what it would be like bacon grease.
