The Man with the Withered Hand
A story from the Bible of how the Lord Jesus healed a man with a withered hand one sabbath day. The Pharisees thought that healing on the sabbath day would be working, and that would break God’s law. But the Lord Jesus said that God made the sabbath day for people. The sabbath is a day of rest – and the Lord Jesus came to give rest, and healing and forgiveness of sin to all who will trust in Him. “I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.” – the Lord Jesus, John’s Gospel chapter 12 verse 47, the Bible.
