Yamaha FZ1 / R1 / FZ6 - High Idle when warm, wax valve issues and fix. (2006 - 2008 models)

Hi there! If you're watching this, you probably have an issue with your bike either revving its guts out at idle when warm, or stalling when its cold. A likely culprit is the Wax idle valve pin being stuck open or closed. I couldn't find another video showing how to solve this issue, so after investigating forums and pulling it all apart myself, I thought I'd make a quick video explaining how the valve on these works, the common problems, and how to fix it! Applicable to FZ1 models from 2006 - 2008, similar FZ6 models (I believe) and R1 models from 2005-2008 as they use a similar valve.
