American Girl bass cover
My attempt of American Girl by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I tried to keep it simple and close to the record but found it to be deceptively difficult to hear the notes and "get it right". Ron Blair is a great bassist but you will never hear him play it the same way twice. After observing multiple live performances, he improvises every time. One particularly interesting aspect of the original recording is the different bass tracks blended together.
