Fawn Wood Sings Remember Me
May 5th marks the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and Two-Spirit+ People (MMIWG2S+), which coincides with “Red Dress Day.” Fawn Wood took a moment to share with us the hauntingly beautiful song, "Remember Me," written by her uncle - Randy Wood. This song has become a call to remember those MMIWG2S+ People that we tragically no longer have in our lives. Together, we can bring this critical issue out of the darkness and into the light. Fawn will be offering one of our K-12 workshop on the topic of Storytelling Through Song during Moose Hide Campaign Day - May 11, 2023.
