Coach Gene Stallings - Football Saturdays
This video features Tim Brando travelling to the Hike-A-Way Ranch in Paris, Texas to sit down with Hall of Fame Head Coach Gene Stallings. One of the original Junction Boys, Stallings talks about his early years in Paris and playing for Bear Bryant at Texas A&M and later coaching with him at Alabama. Stallings also tells Tim about his return to Tuscaloosa as the Crimson Tide’s head coach in 1990 and how he coached them to a national title two years later. Stallings retired from the sidelines in 1996, but has stayed close to Tuscaloosa through his work with the Rise School.
