Tar Heels quarterback Sam Howell rushed for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns and threw for 216 yards and 1 touchdown in the win. For Wake Forest, quarterback Sam Hartman threw for 398 yards and 5 touchdowns, but also threw 2 interceptions. Hartman also ran for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns, accounting for a school-record 7 TD’s in the loss. Deacons wide receivers A.T. Perry and Jaquarii Roberson had 2 touchdowns each, and 129 and 111 yards respectively.
