Updating a Harris RF-5034PA-400E 400W amplifier for use with the RF-5800/PRC-150
The Harris RF-5034 PA can be converted into an RF-5834 PA for use with the Falcon II transceivers (RF-5800 and PRC-150) and be backward compatible with the earlier Falcon I series transceivers (RF-5000/5020/5022/5200/PRC-138) by replacing one EPROM. This video shows most of this process and a test of the amp with an RF-5800. It also shows that two power supplies RF-5051 are definitely needed for this test or the RT reboots!
