Behind the Curtains - Aghh... 10th Scale!
Day 25 of my miniature diary for 2024. Today I started work on my miniature madam's bedroom curtains and realised it is going to take ages. Not upset about that; it will be a labour of love, as they should look smashing when finished. Then I introduce you to another of my unfinished houses. This one was a miniature house I rehomed, but imagine my shock when what was described as 12th scale turned out to be 10th scale, when went to pick it up. Ah well, always up for a challenge, so home it came with me. It has some lovely features; beautiful 1930's miniature dolls house carpets and well executed miniature oak furniture and fittings. Did have to find a clever way to deal with the doors which were totally out of scale though. Have a look at my solutions and tell me what you think of them. Hope all you new subscribers are enjoying my chats. Let me know if I can add, or expand, on anything I do or say. Happy to help in any way I can. Regards, Jill.
