Ringing Up a Lawsuit

The plaintiff says she dated the defendant and loaned him money for a cellphone. She claims when he stopped paying the bill, the service was shut off and she then loaned him her own phone. She says after they broke up, the defendant acted like he did not know her. She is suing for the money owed. The defendant denies borrowing a phone and says he owes her nothing.
