This can also involve the Madman or Werewolf falsely stating their role and pretending to be that role. ▼FO Also called "Full Open" or "FO." This refers to both twins coming out on the first day. Or, all roles being revealed. ▼GJ Short for "Good Job." This refers to actions advantageous to one's own team, such as the Hunter successfully protecting someone or the Seer killing someone on the first day. ▼GS Grayscale. A ranking of those who appear black or white within the gray area. ▼HO Short for "Half Open." Conversely to FO, this refers to only one twin coming out. ▼LW LW (short for Last Wolf, Lonely Wolf). This refers to the werewolf who survives until the end. If there is a Fox, be careful, as the Fox's victory means the villagers' defeat if the LW is executed (lynched). ▼PP Also known as "Power Play." In the late stages of the game, when the werewolf team outnumbers the villagers, the werewolf reveals their role and coordinates votes with the Madman and others to aim for an early resolution. ▼RPP Random Power Play refers to a situation where, when there is an even number of survivors, the werewolf and Madman reveal their roles and coordinate votes, leaving the outcome to a random draw. ▼SG Scapegoat, or Shotgun Position. This refers to someone who is made a target of suspicion or lynched as a substitute for the werewolf. ▼Protect When a fake fortune teller gives a "white" (innocent) judgment to a werewolf to protect them. In the early stages of the game, players who are judged as innocent are less likely to be executed (lynched), so this is sometimes done to protect other teammates. However, if the fortune teller is found to be a fake, it can conversely become a reason for suspicion. ▼Deceive Read as "kataru". Deceiving other players by claiming a different role than their actual role. Werewolves and madmen often deceive the fortune teller. ▼Silent Read as "kamoku". Speaking little and not talking much. Not participating in discussions makes one more likely to be suspected and lynched. ▼Penetration Executing an execution target regardless of their claimed role. This can suppress werewolf-side evasive claims. ▼Gray Also called "gray" or "ash," this refers to a person who has not claimed a role and has not been investigated by anyone. Since there is no information to judge, the game often progresses in the early stages with the goal of reducing the number of gray players. ▼Gray Random "Gray Random," abbreviated as "Gray Random." This refers to each player freely choosing which player to execute (hang) from among players who have not received a "white" judgment from the fortune teller or have revealed their role. This is a common tactic in the early stages of the game to increase the information available for deduction. ▼Black This refers to a player who, according to the fortune teller's or psychic's judgment, is a werewolf. It can also be expressed as "black," "dark," "somewhat dark," or "pitch black." ▼Cross Guarding When there are two players claiming to be hunters, each hunter candidate designates a target for protection. ▼Friendly Bomb This occurs when a fake fortune teller falsely accuses a real werewolf of being black. ▼Sasaki A whispering madman. (Sasa-Kyo) ▼White This refers to a player who, according to the fortune teller's or psychic's judgment, is not a werewolf. It can also be expressed as "white," "somewhat white," "somewhat white," or "pitch white." ▼Slide/Sla Also called "Slide CO" or "Withdrawal CO." This refers to the act of revealing a role, then retracting that role and revealing a different one. This is often done by roles that are easily confirmed as innocent, such as twins or bakers, to keep the werewolf team in check. ▼Zone When there are multiple fortune tellers, this refers to limiting the targets of their investigations to some extent so that they do not overlap. This has the advantage of making it easier to find the true fortune teller. ▼Spread Fire This means shifting the target to someone outside of the provisional designation. ▼Noise Illegible words, actions, or events. Specifically, this could be a person whose true intentions are difficult to grasp, or the remaining role and their judgment after one of the opposing role-players has been attacked. ▼Broken Lock (Broken) When logic no longer holds. Or, breaking a lock. ▼Pillar (Human Sacrifice) When an ordinary villager volunteers to be lynched to protect a hidden ability user (preventing them from being targeted by fortune-telling or lynching). A sacrifice. ▼Panda When multiple fortune-teller candidates give both a "white" (innocent) and a "black" (guilty) judgment. Also refers to the player who receives that judgment.
