Unstable Approach in the PC-24

The PC-24 is a flexible and accommodating aircraft for a jet, and its pilots are exceptionally skilled. Most of them are professional aviators. However, pilots moving from turboprops may face a learning curve when it comes to speed management, particularly to avoid falling behind the aircraft during approach. Check out this review that covers the essential principles of managing altitude, distance, speed, and angle during the approach. POPA Safe Flying is a series of training videos produced by POPA in partnership with FlightSafety. This series will include scenarios in the PC-12 Legacy, PC-12 NG, and PC-24 simulators. These training videos will show realistic scenarios and realistic pilot mistakes, followed by correct procedures demonstrated by CFI’s Travis Holland (PC-24) and Rod Kellogg (PC-12).
