When turning right at junctions and there are parked vehicles close to the junction it's important you get back to your side of the road before making the right turn. Also when turning left and the view is restricted then it's important the speed is slow so that when you enter the new road you can deal with the problems on the new road, if there are any. For example there can be parked cars very close to the junction, or there might be pedestrian crossing the road, there might be roadworks and etc. and so because the view is restricted it's better the speed is slow so you can deal with it as you enter the road.
