La IGLESIA DE SAN JOSÉ se resiste a ser DEMOLIDA debido a los TEREMOTOS de Caracas

Twenty-five churches in Caracas suffered damage due to the two earthquakes that struck Caracas and La Guaira, Venezuela, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. One of the churches that suffered the most damage was the Church of San José, located parallel to Avenida Fuerzas Armadas in Caracas. Built 137 years ago during the presidency of Juan Pablo Rojas Paúl, the church is considered worthy of demolition. Some engineers believe it can be restored, while others maintain that it can be rebuilt. We remain hopeful that it can be restored because otherwise, cultural patronage will suffer a great loss.
