John Connor Finally Defeats Skynet –Terminator Salvation's Secret Ending You Never Saw Coming

I know the Terminator franchise has been through its share of hits and misses, but there is no denying the legacy of this series. Yes, we were all disappointed with how Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines turned out, but the fourth installment in the franchise, Terminator Salvation did redeem the prestige to some extent. I mean it was a spirited attempt by the director McG starring the likes of Christian Bale and Sam Worthington, and this post-apocalyptic film marked a departure from the previous movies. The story is premised in the year 2018, and you have Christian Bale portraying John Connor, the gallant Resistance fighter as he takes on the Skynet menace. When the movie was released in 2009, it was supposed to spawn a second Terminator trilogy, but the plans never materialized following the bankruptcy of Halcyon Company after the film’s release. When the franchise rights were sold to Annapurna Pictures, we had Terminator Genisys, which was a reboot of the series, and the Terminator Salvation storyline remained in the dark. Well, this is where I come in because the story does have a hidden sequel in the form of an extensive comic series titled Terminator Salvation: The Final Battle.
