Sunrise to Sunset, A day out on the railroad. Part 1
Join us for another prototypical operating session as we follow an average day out on the railroad. In part 1, we start off with a brief tour at the town of Parkersburg and the surrounding neighborhoods before the mainline becomes alive. As the action starts up, we follow the 2 freight trains as they make their way into Livingston Yard located in Parkersburg, West Virginia. While in the yard, an empty coal makes an appearance from Pond Run as it switches crews and road power before departing for Blue Ridge, West Virginia. This sets the stage for part 2 when the 2nd shift yard crew goes on duty to build the local freights that serve the region and the additional trains that run daily. ik
