Reylo ~ Ben and Rey ~ Light + Love = Hope

#Reylo #Ben&Rey #StarWars #fanedit When I made this Reylo Fan-edit I wanted to use all of the evidence we have seen of Reylo. Of Ben's redemption, and how I believe it has already happened. I used some of the spoken dialog from The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi movie, as well as some audio clips from The Force Awakens audio book. I put them together with the scenes I thought best fit and it turned out pretty good, so I wanted to share it with all of the other Reylos out there! Voice Overs : Rey ~ You don't have to do this. I feel the conflict in you. It's tearing you apart. Maz Kenata ~ If you live long enough, you see the same eyes in different people. I'm looking at the eyes of a man who wants to run. Han Solo ~ We lost our son. Forever. Liea ~ No! It was Snoke. He seduced our son to the dark side. But we can still save him. Snoke ~ You have compassion for her. Han Solo ~ If Luke couldn't reach him, how could I? Rey ~ You failed him by thinking his choice was made. it wasn't. Snoke ~ You have too much of your father's heart in you, young Solo. Kylo/ Ben ~ Can you see my surroundings? I can't see yours. Just you Rey ~ It isn't too late. Rey ~ I saw his future. There's still conflict in him. If I go to him, Ben Solo will turn. Snoke ~ I perceive the problem. It isn't her strength that is making you fail. It's your weakness! Ben ~ Let the past die. That's the only way to become what you were meant to be. I know what I have to do. Luke Skywalker ~ No-one's ever really gone. Leia ~ There is still light in him. I know it. Rey ~ Why did you hate your father? Give me an honest answer. Ben ~ No. Maz Kenata ~ Hope is not lost today! Ben Solo ~ I didn't hate him. Maz Kenata ~ It is found! Everything I used in this video is canon information from the Star Wars story-line. I only edited it to fit with the clips I chose. STORY : The story in this Fan-Edit is that of The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi told mainly from Ben's perspective. I wanted to bring out how he was feeling during the events that took place over the course of Episode 7 and 8, and how his feelings effected his decisions. Rey has brought out feelings in Ben that he has never felt for anyone else, or from anyone else. The love and tenderness she shows him is different from anything he has felt from the people who should have seen the love he needed from them but which they didn't show him. Ben feels pulled to Rey. He is beginning to care very strongly for her. Rey has seen what Ben has been through and she relates to his aloneness. Han and Leia express their feelings about their son, to each other. Han is losing hope in Ben, but Rey refuses to abandon him. She is sure that he will turn, that he is not lost. She feels from Ben the same comfort he feels from her. She has begun to care strongly for Ben as he does for her. The conflict in Kylo/Ben is pulling him to the Light...To Rey. He is calling to her through his feelings. Rey's feelings are pulling her to him as well. She goes to him and he begins to feel a resolve in the conflict he has been suffering through. When Ben and Rey are in Snoke's throne room together, Ben, for the first time in his life knows what he has to do. The cloudiness of his feelings and judgement clear away to reveal a "Rey of Light" shining through to him. He kills Snoke and proceeds to arm Rey with his family lightsaber, and together they fight the Praetorian Guards. I hope you all enjoy this Reylo / Ben-demption (Ben's Redemption) video!
