Tres años del caso call center en Zapopan: una herida por la impunidad de Jalisco

More than three years have passed since one of the most shocking cases recorded in the Guadalajara metropolitan area, specifically in Zapopan, and justice remains an outstanding debt for the victims' families. In May 2023, eight call center workers were kidnapped. They were young people between the ages of 23 and 37 who worked in a sector that demanded specific skills, such as fluency in English. The case took on even more tragic dimensions when, days after the kidnappings, approximately 50 bags containing human remains were found in a nearby ravine, a discovery that shocked and outraged the community.
