Carabinieri officers patrolled the house in Lonate Pozzolo (Varese) throughout Thursday, January 15th, where Adamo Massa, a 37-year-old man of Sinti origin, was stabbed the previous day by Jonathan Maria Rivolta, a 33-year-old who lives in the house with his parents. The fatal stabbing occurred during a fight following an intrusion into the home by Massa and an accomplice, attempting to burgle the house. The officers, wearing bulletproof vests, are guarding the house for fear of retaliation against the family. "I was already here this morning," explained the mayor of Lonate Pozzolo, Elena Carraro. "I only spoke with the family. We expressed our sympathy, both as mayor and as the entire administration. Like all citizens, we stand with Jonathan, who is enduring this terrifying event."
