At the same time, intelligence confirmed that Colonel Elias “Kifo” Mwamba, warlord leader of the Black Vultures, had arranged a clandestine exchange with foreign buyers for the stolen Russian nuclear warhead. Supported by Wagner mercenaries, Mwamba arrived with his personal guard to conduct the deal. What followed was chaos. Task Force and CIA elements launched an interdiction raid, sparking a brutal firefight. Wagner mercs and Black Vulture fighters turned on the buyers, annihilating them and their security detail to ensure no witnesses survived. Outnumbered and under heavy fire, Task Force units sustained serious losses before being forced to break contact. Mwamba escaped with his militia, moving the warhead back to the fortified Black Vulture compound in Kibaya Village. The nuclear device remains under hostile control. The threat has only escalated.
