Aprender a manejar coches Automáticos - Velocidad Total

Learn how to use the gears in an automatic transmission. We generally find the traditional PRND (Pick, Read, Move, Drive). These gears are "universal," so to speak, and it's necessary to explain each one individually: P (Parking): This gear, translated into Spanish, means "parking" or "parking," and as such, it's used when the vehicle is stopped. Technically, what it does is lock the transmission, preventing the car from rolling backward on an incline. R (Reverse): This gear is used to reverse the vehicle. The most important thing here is to engage it only when the car is completely stopped. N (Neutral): The next gear is Neutral, perhaps one of the least used. This position means that no gear is engaged. D (Drive): Drive, translated as Driving, is the gear we will use to move forward. In this position, the transmission automatically shifts between gears. S (Sport): This sequential Sport mode allows you to use the engine's maximum potential, meaning at higher RPMs than in Drive. M (Manual): This mode gives you complete control over gear changes, both upshifts and downshifts. It's the closest thing to a manual transmission. L, 2, 1: In these positions, the transmission increases engine power at low RPMs. In short, this gear is used for low speeds, rough roads, or long or steep descents.
