[HD] Union Pacific LOL30 Lompoc Local Chase from Surf to Lompoc with Street Running!

Here is a chase of the UP LOL30 Lompoc Local from Surf Beach to Lompoc, CA. The LOL30 originates in Guadalupe and traverses the UP Santa Barbara Subdivision to Surf. We begin the chase at Ocean Park in Surf, where the local, powered by graffiti-covered GP60 1162 with two hoppers and an SP Bay Window caboose, follows behind Amtrak 774 and enters the Lompoc Industrial Lead and begins its trip eastbound. Leaving the coast and passing through scenic farmlands, the train lands in the heart of Downtown Lompoc, with a lengthy section of street running. The train then shoves with the caboose on point down the White Hills Industrial Lead through a windy stretch of rails that leads to the one and only industry on the line - Imerys Filtration. With two cars setout and one picked up, the engine leads back up the White Hills into downtown. The caboose is set out at the top of the White Hills lead where it normally sits, and the engine runs around the single hopper on the Lompoc Lead to lead the trip back westbound. Once again on the street running, the crew stops at a market for some food for the trip home. With grub secured, we continue the chase, retracing our steps to Surf along the scenic coastline. The train briefly pauses at the mainline switch to allow Amtrak 761 to pass, before getting authority to enter the mainline and proceed northward to Guadalupe.
