Holding tank problems are the most dreaded task of any boat owner. Disconnecting the pump and replacing the duckbill valves inside the pump didn’t resolve our problem, so I had to open the holding tank and look for more clues. Gross! S*** EVERYWHERE!!! This is an unvarnished glimpse into necessary but disgusting maintenance while cruising.
