Gulai Ayam - Indonesian Chicken Curry

Indonesia have 2 kind of curry, Gulai Ayam; chicken curry with coconut milk, and kari ayam; chicken curry without coconut milk. Today recipe is Gulai ayam, you can serve it with rice or roti. Love - Diska Ingredients : 1kg Chicken / Ayam 1L Coconut milk / Santan 500ml Water / Air Salt and Oil adequately (for paste) : 80gr Shallot / Bawang Merah 40gr Garlic / Bawang Putih 50gr Candle Nut / Kemiri 10gr Ginger / Jahe 5gr Coriander powder / bubuk ketumbar 10gr Red Chilli / cabe merah (dry spices / rempah rempah) 7pcs Cardamom pods / kapulaga 1tsp Cumin / Jinten 2pcs Cinnamon stick / kayu manis 2pcs Turmeric leave / daun kunyit 3pcs keffir lime leave / daun jeruk 3pcs star anise / bunga lavano 1tsp clove / cengkeh step by step : 1. for paste : cut all ingredients to small pieces, blend with your food processor with little bit water until it soft. 2. heat up pan to medium heat add 2 tbsp of oil and add cumin, stir it until cumin release the aroma, add the paste and all dry spices ingredients. 3. stir well and cook it until the paste and the oil are split 4. add the chicken and water. bring it to boil 5. lower the heat and add coconut milk. keep stirring it, we don't want the coconut milk split, bring it to boil. 6. add salt to taste 7. serve it with rice or roti phrata please check my other social media Instagram :   / diska_ariana   Facebook page :   / cookingwithd.  . #gulaiayam #cookingwithdiska #diskaariana please check my other social media Instagram :   / diska_ariana   Facebook page :   / cookingwithd.  .
