Fuente del Arco is a small town in Lower Extremadura, in the Campiña Sur region, just three kilometers from Andalusia. I came here to visit the La Jayona Mine and the Hermitage of the Virgin of Ara. But the town had other plans. Walking through its streets, I came across something unexpected: ceramics everywhere. On the facades, on the benches, on the walls. And behind it all, a single person: Ara, an artist hired by the town council who has spent years decorating her town piece by piece, tile by tile. This video also includes an unexpected visit: the Iron Museum, closed to the public that day, which Ara opened exclusively for the camera.
