After forty years spent in the cloisters, Brother François Cassingena-Trévédy leads his monastic life alone in the Cantal region. There, he celebrates the Divine Office, which structures his day, and helps neighboring farmers with milking, planting fence posts, and tending their flocks. He recounts this daily life in his book, "Paysan de Dieu" (Albin Michel).
