hiking in Istanbul, this was a complete workout!!!

I was not ready for walking around Istanbul! I didnt think it was going to have such steep streets. If you're looking to do some "urban hiking" this is the place to do it. Istanbul is build on slopes or hills. Its amazing to see cars going up hill and downhill. Even motorcyles and scooters are going up and down the streets. Better have good brakes to drive around here. I think the area is quite beautiful. Istanbul is a very walkable city. But the hills and steep climbs are getting to me. As I walked around the city, I feel its an effort to go up and down. I definitely felt burned out during the first days of walking around. Regardless, I have enjoyed my walk arounds in Istanbul!
