My Favorite Samples in Hip Hop
Sampling has been a part of music for so long, more specifically, Hip Hop. From 1970's rap groups rhyming over a Funkadelic B-side to the infamous East Coast Renaissance, sampling can be seen anywhere in rap. Today I will be showcasing my most favorited Rap Samples of all time. There could possibly be a part two or I might cover other topics that involve sampling so stay tuned. Sampling: The technique of digitally encoding music or sound and reusing it as part of a composition or recording. Interpolation: Using a melody — or portions of a melody (often with modified lyrics) from a previously recorded song but re-recording the melody instead of sampling it.
