Trying yarn from AliExpress so you don’t have to...Worse or better than expected?

Hi fiber arts friends, today I am fearlessly venturing into the unknown… We’re test crocheting 7 different yarns from AliExpress (NOT sponsored!). Have you ever wondered what yarn from AliExpress is like? Is it as bad as everyone makes it out to be? That’s what we’re finding out together today! Fiber types range from T-shirt yarns, to “mohair” and “cashmere.” We’ll mostly be crocheting today but I do throw in a tinyyy bit of knitting for the sequin yarn✨ All in all, it was somehow better than I expected and worse than I expected at the same time.
