In particular, the Choansan Hydrangea Festival is scheduled to take place over two days on June 20th and 21st, 2026. In addition to viewing the spectacular hydrangeas, there are various photo zones, food trucks, craft beer and coffee booths, and even free performances featuring a star-studded lineup including Jang Sa-ik and Tei—so don't miss out on this for your weekend outing! As you walk past a path of vibrant hydrangeas and along a forest trail filled with lush shade, you will encounter profound historical stories, such as a unique burial ground containing traces of Joseon Dynasty eunuchs and court ladies who were forced to be buried outside the city walls, and the precious record known as the 'Stele of Court Lady Park of Gaeseong.'
