The Yorkshire Trekker - Thruscross Reservoir, Harrogate
A 4.5 mile trek around the property of Yorkshire Water at Thruscross Reservoir. This is a circular walk of the reservoir which starts and finishes at the large dam. The walk is quite hard going at times in wet and wintry conditions but should be fairly easy on dry days. Please take the advice from Yorkshire Water as they recommend good strong footwear, suitable clothing and plenty of provisions to get you round. The walk is a mixture of woodland and moorland with paths varying from good shale to a bit of climbing amongst the woodland with no distinguishable path so prepare yourself for such sections along the walk. Details of the reservoir and walk can be found here... https://www.yorkshirewater.com/things...
