Arham

Arham is an original electronic composition inspired by Jain contemplative traditions. Built around the traditional salutations "Namo Arihantanam" and "Namo Siddhanam," the music explores stillness, repetition, and inward awareness through a contemporary electronic soundscape. The earliest historical evidence of the Namokar (Navkar) Mantra appears in ancient Jain inscriptions using these opening salutations independently as auspicious invocations (maṅgala) before the complete form became standardized in later centuries. Arham draws inspiration from that early historical tradition while presenting the salutations in an original contemporary musical setting. The accompanying visuals draw inspiration from the timeless landscapes of western and central India, emphasizing silence, scale, and reflection over narrative or performance.
