Francisco do PT destaca educação, obras hídricas e ações para o Seridó

In an interview with Panorama 95, State Representative Francisco from the PT party reviewed his nearly eight years in office and highlighted education and water security as the main hallmarks of his work. The legislator emphasized his participation in debates for the implementation of the State Institutes of Professional Education (IERNs), as well as his monitoring of structural works, such as the arrival of water from the São Francisco River Integration Project to the Seridó region, the completion of the Oiticica Dam, and the restoration of the Passagem das Traíras Dam. Francisco also highlighted the allocation of parliamentary amendments to all municipalities in the Seridó region, including approximately R$ 1 million for Caicó, with investments in health, education, culture, and public safety. Among the bills he authored, he cited the Democratic School Law, measures to protect women victims of domestic violence, and the recognition of cultural heritage sites in Rio Grande do Norte, such as the Forró Pela Rural program, the Coral de Santana choir, and the Curta Caicó Festival. The congressman also advocated for the expansion of water infrastructure in the region, including the installation of a water pipeline to São João do Sabugi.
