Thin Edges vs Thick Edges & Design Intentions for Knife Makers Pt1 #knifestuffwedo #edc #knifemaking

I am discussing my personal take on thin edges vs thicker edges and designed use case and applications. Theres a specality product for every job, however, let's not forget sometimes thinner harder is not always better. There's lots to the cutting performance based on the job, consider toughness, edge stability, wear resistance, edge angle, grind type, steel type, heat treatment, HRC, BTE and probably others I am forgetting. This was shot late at night, I may re-do it as my thoughts and impressions have adjusted over time. There were items I neglected to discuss becuase I simply did this off the cusp vs taking notes. So enjoy the raw unfiltered take.
