Apprentice Series - An Introduction to Brickwork Apprenticeships

Alright lads I wanted to do a series of videos to help all the brickwork apprentices out there. A series of videos that covers all the very basics, from how its starts to how it finishes and all the bits in between! Key Apprentice Wage Information (from April 2025): Apprentice Rate: £7.55 per hour (applies to 16-18 year olds and those 19+ in their first year). Second Year/Older: If an apprentice is 19 or older and has completed their first year, they are entitled to the full National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage for their age. Future Rate: From 1 April 2026, the apprentice rate increases to £8.00 per hour Key Details on Apprentice Holiday Entitlement: Total Days: 28 days (often structured as 20 days + 8 bank holidays). Definition of Full-Time: Typically 30+ hours per week, including off-the-job training.
