Snap-on Tool Haul #1: Officially Fan Boys?!

#SnapOn #ToolHaul #FanBoy In this video I literally become a Snap-On Fan Boy...right? If you are new here, Time Stamps are down below for your convenience. *Editing me update...This is the first video in our Snap-on Tool Haul series, which I promised we would release once the channel hit 10k Subscribers. We FINALLY hit that milestone this past weekend (on HEMI Day no less!) and thus, we can finally start releasing these. As you watch this series, just know that I began recording and uploading these in June of 2023, yep 3 years ago! I wanted to have a Channel Update first, but just didn't have time with how busy work is...so here you go, we will just jump right into it. If you want this released back-to-back, or once a week, etc., let me know and I will try to make it happen. And if anyone cares, this fan ultimately made it back home...it didn't hold well to the beam at work and the distance was a factor. I wound up getting a bigger industrial fan across the shop and just point it at my stock area). Time Stamps and Links @0:00 Intro -Snap-On Tool Haul at 10,000 Subscribers --Leave any suggestions for must have tools, or tools you think I will enjoy, or even want to see compared to others @1:15 Extenuating Circumstances -This order came before the channel's 10k milestone and for an innocent reason --I was honestly just looking for a portable fan that had a strong magnetic base ---This is what my search turned up @3:20 Ridgid and Hercules Fans -Both have been good, but the Ridgid seems to be the better fan (smooth, quiet, moves more air) @5:00 Snap-On KAFANPJK LED-Clock Two-Speed Fan, $93.00 https://shop.snapon.com/product/Workc... --This was on sale for $83...which also played a role in pulling the trigger ---Oddly enough, there weren't really any good videos on the fan @8:33 Packaging Highlights -Not super impressed with Snap-On's shipping --Real Time and Temperature --Direct Outlet or via USB --Two-Speed --Oscillating --Magnetic Base (Vertical, or Horizontal) @11:05 Unboxed -The fan in it's own box was packed well -USB and Wall Adapter @12:10 Fan in Hand -Magnetic Base @12:20 --Mat Test @13:09 Fan Inspection @13:30 Control Buttons @14:10 Oscillation and Lock @14:22 Vertical vs Horizontal -The magnetic mount plus the horizontal position is why this fan is here @15:36 Power Cord Connection @16:45 Cord Length -It is roughly 4' long --Plenty long for what Snap-On intended, not quite ideal for my scenario @17:17 Barrel Plug and USB Connections @18:04 Harbor Freight Power Strip -Say what you will, but these are really nice power strips @18:46 Wall Pack to Power Strip @19:28 Power Up -Initial Impression is more air than anticipated @19:56 Power Off @20:10 High Power -Not really that much better than low in my opinion @20:50 Low to High -Definitely not noticeable @21:15 LEDs on Fan Blades @21:36 LED Power Up -Temperature rotates top and bottom between Celsius and Fahrenheit --Colors are fixed (Green for Clock Dial, Red for Hands, Blue for Temperature) ---At this price, custom color mapping would be nice ----Green would probably look really cool with the default colors @22:55 Time Set Procedure -Looks like it will go by the minute, which could take awhile @23:35 Honest Initial Impression -Imo it is just not worth the price of $93 --I could be talked into it at $50, but that is max value in my opinion ---$29-$39 with the LED's is more accurate ----$19.99 for no LEDs @24:45 USB Direct Power @25:32 Oscillation Test -Not a consistent travel path @26:00 1 Year Warranty @26:45 LED Direct -Will turn the fan on @27:02 Recap -The Magnetic Base coupled with the 90 Degree head flip is what ultimately sold the fan to me --I'm surprised there aren't more magnetic base fans...I guess it is more common for people to mount to a wall (wood) than metal @28:25 Your Experience -Do any of you have one of these fans? How long? How is it holding up? @30:10 Are We Fan Boys? @30:22 Free Freight = More Tools? -You will have to stay tuned to find out @33:32 Conclusion *Alpha Gloves* Get my gloves!
