Karagöl SAKLI CENNET'İ Bulduk! İzmir Dikili Doğa Yürüyüşü - Trekking Rotası

We Fell in Love with Karagöl! If Untouched Hidden Places and Nature Walks Interest You, This Is the Perfect Trekking Route for You! Karagöl, the Most Beautiful Trekking Route in Dikili, Izmir! The route typically preferred by hikers and cyclists starts from Merdivenli village, reaches Karagöl, and completes the journey by descending to Denizköy. The distance from Merdivenli to Karagöl is approximately 5-6 km. The distance from Karagöl to Denizköy is 2 km. We chose to climb the mountain from Denizköy because we wanted a quicker and more direct route to the lake. It was a bit tiring, of course, but the view was definitely worth it! Don't forget to bring water and food for the hike. I also recommend avoiding this hike on hot summer days. I think spring is the best, as the colorful wildflowers make the journey even more beautiful. You can also unwind after your hike by swimming in one of the beautiful bays in the area, like Hayıtlı, like we did. Depending on how wild and attuned you are to nature and wildlife, Karagöl might be worth a visit. If you're good with wild boars and looking for a quiet, undiscovered, and solitary spot, I recommend checking out Karagöl. I enlisted the help of Dikili historian Murat Solmaz to provide some detailed information about Karagöl. Here's what he said: Karagöl is located on the ridge of Mount Kane, mentioned in Strabo's Geography. Today, we call Mount Kane Karadağ. Starting from Merdivenli Village, as you hike south of Karadağ, there's a cemetery surrounded by stones on the right before reaching Karagöl. The villagers believe this is a martyrs' cemetery. They're right to call it that, because the Hardal Yörüks were martyred in these mountains while defending their lands against the men of the pirate Corci. Click for the Corci Island video:    • Denizköy CORCİ Adası -  Fantastik Akvaryum...   The natives of Karadağ, where Karagöl is located, are called mustard nomads. A few families, primarily the twin tribes of the Hardal nomads, formed the villages of Merdivenli and Katıralanı. Some of the Hardal nomads formed the village of Hasanağa, while others engaged in animal husbandry formed the locals of Bademli and Denizköy.
