Aquarium Water Too Hot - Killed My Fish (Learn From My Mistakes)

This wasn't a fun video to make but I don't want to keep anything a secret. I made a few rookie mistakes which cost the lives of some of my synodontis petricola (lucipinnis) catfish. I really love these fish, from the way they move to the way they look. I had and still have plans to grow some out and breed them one day so it was extra painful to lose some. I should have known better and hopefully you can learn from what I did wrong and not make the same mistakes. Whenever you change up your water change routine be extra careful and go step by step so as not to forget the basics. I also should have used evaporative cooling to bring the temp back down instead of adding ice. I kept the lights off and the tops off but should have added a fan and not dropped the temperature too drastically.
