How to English Paper Piece with Tula Pink - Part 2 - Supplies | Fat Quarter Shop

Tula Pink tells you about her favorite English Paper Piecing notions and supplies. Ranging from must have to would be nice to have, Tula breaks down why each notion is an EPP essential. You’ll need cutting tools, starting with a rotary cutter and from there you can dive into different snips and microserated scissors that make the job easier. Then come the needles and thread. Tula’s favorite needles are the Hiroshima Tulip “Big eye”, but the most essential part of that is that they have the big eye for easier threading. For thread, Tula recommends Aurifil 50wt as it is fine enough yet strong enough to get a pretty stitch but withstand travel. Did you know thread has a right and wrong side for threading?
