Rotterdam woont 2030! - Aflv. 1 Katendrecht

In the lead-up to the referendum on the Housing Vision on November 30th, OPEN Rotterdam is extensively examining the city's future housing plans. In an eight-episode series, broadcast on television and with extensive coverage on social media, we'll highlight several key elements of this much-discussed Housing Vision. What is the Housing Vision actually about? The referendum question is: "Are you for or against the Housing Vision?" In the first episode of the series "Rotterdam Living 2030!", we visit Katendrecht, a neighborhood once known as a problem area. Nowadays, "De Kaap" is very popular with young families. Katendrecht is also an example of what the municipality wants in more areas of the city: mixed neighborhoods with sufficient housing for families with middle or higher incomes. We meet Chane and Liesbeth, parents of two young children who moved from Blijdorp to Katendrecht for a family home. Want to follow stories from Rotterdam? Subscribe (free) to our channel!
