Thoughts on Catnip Sessions Vol. 2 - 2026-05-17

A few other thoughts I didn't mention: I have to start doing weird transitions more regularly. By 'weird', I mean 'non-standard, EQ transition'. A lot of the transitions in Catnip Sessions Vol. 2 are pretty simple: bring up new song, tweak EQ knobs, cut older song. Nothing wrong with that, it's easy and effective and what I was going for in this mix. However, when I come up with strange ideas, I want to be comfortable doing them and not panic because I have to be faster or unorthodox. I have to practice doing a bigger variety so I weird transitions are easy for me. I did mention this, but I have to learn more of what the FLX4 can do. That's going to be easier than the transition idea, but implementing the things I learned will likely be tricky. Also knowing what kind of toy to use to play with my music is going to take practice and experience. That's it for now.
