This unofficial fan made Subnautica 2 animation features the day in the life of Proteus's Coral Crab, a giant crustation native to the coral gardens who lives within the coral domes as both protection and camouflage Inspired by BBC Planet Earth and Blue Planet, this short film reimagines the world of Subnautica 2 as a nature documentary, featuring original narration, cinematic storytelling, realistic animal behaviour, and fully animated scenes created in Blender. Every shot in this project was animated and rendered by me, a single creator over several months, with the goal of bringing Proteus to life as if they were part of a real wildlife documentary.
