Incredible Muslim Street Food in China 🇨🇳 (Xinjiang Nightlife)

Urumqi, Xinjiang, China - Jack and Paige take on the North West region of China and explore deeper into the culture of this autonomous region. We decided to explore the nightlife of Urumqi and kicked this off with a little street food hunt. Jack practiced some more Uyghur language and we ate a sesame chicken leg cooked in a traditional tandoori oven, after learning some new Uyghur words to continue our night with, we moved on to the show-stopper; Samsa. The beautiful lamb parcels blew our minds and took it's place as some of the best street food we have ever eaten. However, straight after that we purchase some really questionable fish on a stick and chicken hearts. It was a culinary adventure as we prepared for our big night out to the nightclubs of Urumqi! You can drink in Urumqi? After putting in the wrong destination into DiDi (Uber), we ended up 11 miles away from Urumqi city and deep in the suburbs where we found a strange nightclub in an industrial estate. The club was beautiful but the vibe was strange, after sitting down and ordering a drink, they informed us that we had to pay £250 to stay in the bar. We escaped from the club and found a haven in a jazz bar where we enjoyed beautifully handcrafted cocktails.
