We interviewed Manolo Cardo Montes to talk about transhumance in the heart of the Alcudia Valley. Animals and shepherds who annually leave their mountain pastures in Cuenca in search of an eternal spring. This is all part of the project "Pasture in the Serranía de Cuenca," carried out by Vestal and funded by the Serranía de Cuenca Local Action Group (GAL), Prodese, with the aim of creating a memory bank of lost trades in the Serranía de Cuenca, focusing on traditional shepherding and livestock farming.
