The Dorset Dirt Dash 2023

The 2023 Kinesis Dorset Dirt Dash took place over the May bank holiday and I took a couple of cameras along and with some additional footage from Markus Stitz, this is the result. I took part in the 2 day version, so 50 miles-ish, each day with a camp-over. There is also a 1 day 100 mile event for those looking to be more antisocial haha. As mentioned in the video the 2 day is a great intro to bikepacking, although you may see a few bikes with very little, if no luggage.its not compulsory to camp, so some do take advantage of a hotel/BB. Food is supplied on arrival at the campsite along with beer and or cider. There's plenty of merriment around the campfire, for those not in need of sleep, unlike me.
