Ocean Loader 1 by Martin Galway - Commodore 64 Music
The first and, in my opinion, the best Ocean loading music by a distance. When I first heard this it was used on the game Transformers and I thought it was written specifically for that game. Indeed I bought that game purely for this music. This tune was the first of the really great pieces of Commodore 64 music I heard and from that moment on I would always be on the lookout for games featuring Martin Galway's music, while also finding out about other great Commodore 64 musicians. It was this interest that eventually lead to me trying my hand at creating my own music on the Commodore 64, though with little success, and then later on with the Amiga and now on the PC... So this tune lead to the birth of Daikaiju, the electronic music duo that I formed... The version of this tune used in this video comes from the Project Galway CD, available to buy at www.c64audio.com for £9.99 for a double CD of Martin Galways greatest. An essential purchase for any fan of the great days of Commodore 64 music!
