Public Governance: Governing the Energy Transition - Tilburg University

The transition to a sustainable society confronts us with major social challenges, beyond the technological ones. To address these challenges successfully, the support and capacity of a diverse set of public, private and societal actors are needed – from the global to the local level. But how to build coalitions and networks between them, how to align their interests and goals? And how to ensure the participation and involvement of all individuals and groups in society? These types of questions are at the core of the Public Governance Bachelor and Master's programs. In the program Public Governance, you will study the ways governments are organized and how they handle various societal issues in cooperation with their partners. You will study Public Governance from an international comparative perspective, and analyze the challenges at hand from the perspectives of Public Administration, Economics and Law.
