Against this backdrop, the Ukrainian forces' campaign has undergone a fundamental shift, with multiple massive missile strikes conducted in the space of a few days. Currently, Ukrainian launchers are destroying Russian targets in rapid succession, with devastating effects. Recently, the heaviest Ukrainian air strikes targeted military production, armed forces logistics, and energy infrastructure over the course of four days. The primary target was the Vniir-Progress plant in Cheboksary, which produces artillery components, Iskander missile systems, as well as antennas and navigation modules—components without which Russia's combat effectiveness is degraded. Ukrainian Flamingo cruise missiles struck the facility's main building, marking yet another attack on the facility in just one month. Ukraine even struck the same facility a third time, knocking it out again within forty-eight hours. During this four-day period, Ukraine expanded its campaign against military targets in Crimea, where Ukrainian Neptune anti-ship missiles struck a Black Sea Fleet weapons and equipment storage facility in Sevastopol. Open-source monitoring indicated that Russian air defense tracked both waves of incoming missiles, but failed to intercept them entirely. The attack destroyed a warehouse containing weapons and military equipment, reducing the Russian Federation's maritime capabilities. Shortly thereafter, Ukraine followed up its operations with another Neptune missile strike against the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery, damaging the two primary refining plants of the main supplier of diesel and aviation fuel to Russian forces deployed in southern Ukraine. The narrow timing of these strikes increases their strategic significance, allowing them to saturate Russian air defense systems and facilitate further strikes. After saturating the Russian Federation's defenses, Ukraine targeted the Baltimore air base in Voronezh with a long-range launcher. The installation hosts Su-34 fighter-bombers, which Moscow uses to pound Ukrainian fortifications. By wearing down Russian air defenses with frequent missile strikes, Ukraine was able to conduct a further missile strike, damaging the local energy infrastructure in Belgorod, causing disruptions to electricity and water supplies in parts of the region, as confirmed by Russian officials. Before launching its rapid-fire attacks, Ukraine prepared the groundwork by carrying out a combined missile and drone attack on a logistics hub in Taganrog. This site serves as a major logistics hub and plays a key role in sustaining Russian military operations. As part of these frequent missile attacks, Ukraine also continued its campaign against the Russian defense industry. In this specific attack, Flamingo cruise missiles were used to hit the Promsintez explosives plant in Chapayevsk, triggering a detonation in the production area. The facility produces over thirty thousand tons of military-grade explosives annually, making it a critical component of Russia's military-industrial base. Another attack targeted an oil refinery in Yaroslavl, where NASA satellite data confirmed a large-scale fire. The refinery had been hit several times previously, halting annual production of fifteen million tons of crude oil. In addition to domestically produced launchers, Ukraine simultaneously employed Western-supplied long-range weapons as part of the same expanding offensive ecosystem. Scalp cruise missiles, supplied by the United Kingdom and France, were used alongside other precision-guided weapons systems in an attack on Russian drone facilities near Donetsk airport, destroying a Shahed drone storage, preparation, and launch complex and triggering secondary detonations. This facility was strategically important because Russia launched Shahed strikes against Ukraine every night, and from this location, the launchers could quickly reach Ukrainian territory.
